Jeff Depew Caps off Incredible Career with Second-Place Showing in the 200 Fly at the NCAA Championships

Senior Jeff Depew (Naperville, IL) capped off a truly spectacular career today by finishing second in the 200 Fly at the NCAA Division III Swimming & Diving Championships in Shenandoah, TX.

After winning this morning's preliminaries with a time of 1:45.71, Depew found more in the tank to better his mark by touching the wall in 1:45.45 for the silver medal.  In addition, he collects his third top-five finish in as many races during this year's national meet while taking home yet another All-America accolade.

Over his career, he has 16 total All-America or Honorable Mention All-America nods for landing among the top 16 at the NCAA Championships as either an individual or as a member of a relay.  He also took fourth in the 200 Individual Medley and fifth in the 400 IM earlier this week.
