The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced earlier today that senior pitcher Lindsey Mifsud (Belmont, CA) garnered Pitcher of the Week honors after a solid opening weekend for the University of Redlands.
On Saturday, Mifsud pitched 7.1 innings in a doubleheader sweep over the University of Puget Sound (WA). In game one, she threw an efficient five innings and helped Redlands take the 10-1 victory, and then came in for the final 2.1 innings of a 3-1 decision for the save in game two. Overall, she fanned five and posted an ERA of 0.95.

After today's doubleheader against Whitworth University (WA), Redlands begins conference action against Chapman University on Friday, February 15. The first pitch is slated for 1 p.m. at the Field of Dreams.
