For the second time this season, senior center Cooper Krause (Denver, CO) earned Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) men's water polo Offensive Athlete of the Week honors. Krause was an integral part of the Bulldogs' successful, 3-2 week.
Krause impressed with a team-high 12 goals through the five games for the Bulldogs. Overall, he connected on over half of his attempts with a .545 clip. He also drew four exclusions and registered a steal on the week.
In the 17-11 win over McKendree University (IL), Krause led Redlands with four goals on a .667 shooting percentage. He ended the week with another three tallies in a 14-11 victory over Johns Hopkins University (MD).
For the season, Krause is second on the team with 24 goals and a .511 shooting percentage. He also registered two assists and has drawn a team-high 10 exclusions.
