Bulldog Tennis Announces Maegan Manasse as Assistant Coach

REDLANDS, Calif. – University of Redlands Head Men's and Women's Tennis Coach Pete Yellico announced Monday the addition of Maegan Manasse to his coaching staff as an assistant. 

Maegan is currently a professional on the ITF and WTA tour. She has a career high ranking of 327 in singles and 175 in doubles. She has won a WTA Event and seven ITF doubles titles. She is also a two-time ITF Singles runner-up.

Manasse played collegiate tennis at UC Berkeley and graduated with a degree in Social Welfare in 2018. Manasse had an outstanding collegiate career where she was a five-time All-American. In her time at Cal, she had the No. 1 ITA ranking in both singles and doubles, won the 2015 All-American Doubles Championship, and was the runner-up in the 2014 USTA/ITA National Women's Indoor Intercollegiate Championships. Manasse and her partner earned second place in the NCAA Women's Doubles Championship in 2016, and also reached the semifinals of the NCAA Women's Doubles Championship in 2017. Manasse ended her collegiate career with six Pac-12 Player of the Week honors and an overall record of 114-37 in singles and 104-37 in doubles.

Manasse also has coaching experience at the Division I collegiate level.  She was the Undergraduate Student Assistant Coach at UC Berkeley for the 2017-18 season. Then in 2021 served as the Volunteer Assistant Coach for the USC Women's Tennis team before returning to UC Berkeley for the fall season of 2021 as the Interim Assistant Coach.

Manasse becomes the fourth assistant coach under Pete Yellico joining Jake De Vries, Erik Lundblad, and Sean Comadena.
