Redlands Men's Tennis Rises to No. 22 in Oracle/ITA Rankings

The University of Redlands men's tennis team climbed 12 spots on the most recent Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings to No. 22 among the best in NCAA Division III.

The Bulldogs also sit fifth in the West Region as one of four Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) schools among the top five.

During the month of March, the Bulldogs have gone 6-2 with their most significant win coming against No. 19 Whitman College (WA) by a score of 5-4 on the 22nd.   

Senior Chase Lipscomb (Irvine, CA) shores up the No. 1 singles spot as the ninth-ranked player from the West Region.  He owns a 6-3 record that includes a victory over the previous No. 1 singles player in Division III.

In doubles, Redlands is led by sophomore Brysl Libao (Redlands, CA) and junior Brad Cummins (Rancho Mirage, CA) as the No. 1 tandem.  With a 7-2 mark on the season, the team ranks sixth in the West Region.
