Cameron Krimbill became the SCIAC Athlete of the Week for April 9-15

It was announced earlier today that University of Redlands' first-year Cameron Krimbill (Scottsdale, AZ) was named the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) Men's Tennis Athlete of the Week for his success during April 9-15.

Krimbill went undefeated in the Bulldogs' two matches last week and contributed to a pair of SCIAC wins for the Maroon and Gray.  Against Cal Lutheran University, Krimbill and first-year teammate Noah Morrow (Lakewood, CO) garnered a hard-fought 9-7 win at No. 2 doubles before Krimbill rolled to a 6-2, 6-1 victory at No. 2 singles.  In the team's triumph over Whittier College, he and Morrow orchestrated an 8-3 performance in doubles to go along with Krimbill's 6-3, 6-4 win in singles.

Redlands completed the season with these matches for an 11-7 overall mark and a 4-3 finish in SCIAC.  Krimbill went 6-1 against conference foes in singles and in doubles for a combined 12-2 mark in his inaugural year with the Bulldogs.
