No. 13 Redlands Men's Tennis Stumbles to No. 12 Sagehens of Pomona-Pitzer

The No. 13 University of Redlands men's tennis team welcomed the 12th-ranked Pomona-Pitzer Colleges to Verdieck Courts for a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) showdown on Friday afternoon. Despite taking two of the three doubles matches, the Bulldogs struggled in singles and ultimately lost by a score of 3-6.

The No. 2 tandem of first-years Cameron Krimbill (Scottsdale, AZ) and Noah Morrow (Stevenson Ranch, CA) took care of business with an 8-5 victory, while junior Chase Lipscomb (Irvine, CA) and first-year Brysl Libao (Redlands, CA) came away with an 8-2 win at the top slot.

With the Sagehens leading, 3-2, the Bulldogs gained their final point with Krimbill's impressive 6-3, 6-4 performance at No. 2 singles.

The Bulldogs (8-4, 1-1 SCIAC) host No. 6 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges on Friday, April 6, at 3 p.m.
