The No. 10 University of Redlands men's tennis team took on Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) foe, Cal Lutheran University, in Saturday's match-up on Verdieck Courts.  While utilizing a slightly adjusted line-up, the Bulldogs collected wins at every position for the 9-0 sweep over the Kingsmen.

In doubles, freshman Brad Cummins (Rancho Mirage, CA) and sophomore Chase Lipscomb (Irvine, CA) set the tone with their 8-1 victory at the No. 2 slot.  Seniors Parker Wilson (Carlsbad, CA) and Tom Suchodolski (Amherst, MA) took care of business at No. 3 by defeating their opponents, 8-5.  Senior Jake Ly (Torrance, CA) and junior Joey Dulle (St. Loui, MO) completed the sweep with a hard-fought 9-7 decision at the top slot.

In singles, Redlands maintained the momentum with strong results at No. 4, as Suchodolski cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 performance, while Wilson officially put this one in the books with his shut-out win at No. 2.

In addition, freshman Avery Davis (Jensen Beach, FL), Lipscomb, Ly, and sophomore Bryant Johnson (Fair Oaks, CA) all prevailed in their respective singles matches.
