The 15th-ranked University of Redlands men's tennis team took to the road for Friday's Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) match, squaring off against Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks.  With an all-around solid performance, the Bulldogs swept the Regals en route to a 9-0 victory.

The top doubles duo of sophomore Joey Dulle (St. Louis, MO) and junior Jake Ly (Torrance, CA) initiated the scoring with an 8-3 showing, before freshman Chase Lipscomb (Irvine, CA) and junior Parker Wilson (Carlsbad, CA) cruised to the win by the same score.  Finally, graduate student Taylor Hunt (Seattle, WA) and sophomore Cooper Lacetera (Westhampton Beach, NY) completed the Bulldogs' sweep with an 8-5 decision.

The Bulldogs continued to roll in singles, with Ly's 6-1, 6-1 triumph at No. 4.  Wilson officially put this one in the books by defeating his No. 3 opponent, 6-3, 6-0.

Redlands preserved the shut-out with additional singles wins by Lipscomb, Dulle, Lacetera, and Hunt.

Redlands (14-4, 3-0 SCIAC) looks forward to hosting the Stags of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges on Friday, April 8, at 3 p.m. on Verdieck Courts.
