It was announced on Friday that the University of Redlands men's golf team enters the 2019-20 campaign with a national ranking of No. 13 on the NCAA Division III Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll.

The Bulldogs look to build upon their 17th-place showing at the 2019 NCAA Championships with a strong returning core of competitors.  The experience of seniors Diego Cortes (Santiago, Chile), Cameron Cooper (Seattle, WA), Jake Hollander (Peterborough, NH) bodes well for a successful season.  Hollander finished his junior year as an All-America Honorable Mention, while Cooper hauled in All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) honors for the second time.  In addition, sophomore Kyle Sharp (Austin, TX) gained a First-Team All-Conference nod as the SCIAC Newcomer of the Year and strives to keep that momentum going for the Maroon and Gray.

The U of R men's golf team welcomes back Head Coach Jamie Zantua for his second season at the helm.  Overall, he helped the Bulldogs achieve a scoring average of 75.46, with Hollander pacing the crew at 74.07.

The squad jumps into action on Saturday, September 21, and Sunday, September 22, by hosting the Bulldog Fall Invitational at the S Club in Rancho Mirage.
