U of R Men's Golf Tabbed No. 10 in Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll

It was announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) that the University of Redlands men's golf team moved up five spots to No. 10 in the most recent Bushnell Golfweek Division III National Coaches Poll.

After beginning the fall in a tie for 22nd, the Bulldogs maneuvered into No. 15 in the rankings after a third-place performance at the competitive Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Co-Ed Invitational in early October.

The Maroon and Gray closed out the fall slate in impressive fashion, as junior Jake Hollander (Peterborough, NH) paced the squad with a career-low 201 in a captivating first-place performance at the Marymount California University Fall Invite. Every Bulldog finished amongst to top 13 while combining for a score of 847, which is the lowest three-round score for Redlands in over 10 years.

The Bulldogs join three other members of the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) in the national poll, including Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges at No. 3, the University of La Verne at No. 14, and Chapman University at No. 22.

Redlands resumes competition in the spring by competing in the CSU San Marcos Fujikara Invitational on Monday, February 4, and Tuesday, February 5.
