U of R Men's Golf Reenters National Poll at No. 15

After a brief hiatus, the University of Redlands men's golf team returned to the Bushnell Golfweek Coaches Poll with this week's No. 15 national ranking, as announced on Friday morning.

The Bulldogs began the fall slate tied for 22nd among the top-25 list and momentarily dropped out without hitting the links.  Following the team's third-place performance at the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Co-Ed Invitational in early October, Redlands rises to No. 15 as one of two Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) schools among the rankings.

Senior Cade Lawson (Lake Oswego, OR) strives to build off his Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-Region award from last spring. He recently finished as the top Bulldog at the ERAU event by tying for ninth with a 54-hole total of 220.  In addition, the Maroon and Gray anticipates solid results from returning All-Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) honorees, juniors Cameron Cooper (Seattle, WA) and Jake Hollander (Peterborough, NH).

Redlands looks forward to competing again on Monday, October 22, and Tuesday, October 23, at the Marymount Fall Invitational.
