SCIAC Men's Basketball Weekly Release No. 2
REDLANDS, Calif. - The Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) announced their Men's Basketball Athletes of the Week in the second week of voting and University of Redlands sophomore guard Chozen Amadi (Dallas, TX) was selected as the SCIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week for the first time in his career.
Amadi dropped 21 points on 58.3 percent shooting on the week, including knocking down four three-pointers at a 66.7 percent clip, to lift the University of Redlands to an 80-72 victory over No. 28 University of St. Thomas (Texas). He also pulled down a pair of rebounds and nabbed a steal in just 24 minutes on the court.
Redlands returns to the court this Friday-Saturday for a pair of non-conference games against Northwest Conference opponents Willamette University and George Fox University. Both games slated to be played at 7:00pm.
