It was announced earlier this month that more than 1,700 student-athletes from the nine Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) institutions comprise the 2017-18 All-Academic Teams. The University of Redlands accounted for 187 roster spots in the list due to numerous dual-sport athletes exceeding the criteria. In order to qualify for this accolade, student-athletes must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.40 while having completed at least one full calendar year at their current institution.
Overall, the Bulldogs' honorees include at least two representatives from each of their 21 teams.
