The University of Redlands invites the community to the sixth annual "Family Fun Night" at Bulldog basketball during the teams' Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) doubleheader against Occidental College on Saturday, February 11, at 5 and 7 p.m. in Currier Gym. Any adult accompanied by a child age 18 and under will receive free admission into both games. All children are automatically admitted free of charge.
In addition, halftime of both games will feature an informal shoot-around for kids ages 14 and younger, with smaller hoops available for the youngest children.
"Family Fun Night" replaces the NCAA's Take a Kid to the Game® program, which was suspended in 2011-12.
"We are excited for the local community to join us on Saturday," said Director of Athletics Jeff Martinez. "Family Fun Night in Currier is always an enjoyable evening."
